During your technical training at Kieback&Peter, you will learn everything you need for your career as a technician. Technical training: Job descriptions

During your training, you’ll learn about our technical building systems and trades, as well as their specific functions and requirements. You’ll create technical drawings using specialized CAD software for building automation systems, designing detailed circuit, wiring, and cabling diagrams in compliance with current drawing standards. You’ll learn how to calculate valve sizes and cable cross sections. You’ll also draw up work specifications and discuss and review their technical implementation on site.

Training duration: 3.5 years

In addition to basic technical training at one of our numerous network partners, we’ll teach you about voltage and circuits and everything you need to know about measuring, calculating, and evaluating electrical variables. You’ll learn about our technical building systems and trades and how they work. Your tasks will include setting up measurement and control technology and integrating it in the network. You’ll also provide support during commissioning and maintenance. In addition, you’ll eliminate any operating malfunctions and irregularities.

Training duration: 3.5 years

In addition to basic technical training at one of our numerous network partners, we’ll teach you about voltage and circuits and everything you need to know about measuring, calculating, and evaluating electrical variables. In our production facilities, you’ll spend some time in all production areas and be responsible for planning, controlling, and monitoring device testing. You’ll also commission and maintain control units. 

Training duration: 3.5 years

During your training, you’ll learn how voltage and circuits work and everything you need to know about measuring, calculating, and evaluating electrical variables. Your tasks will include wiring control cabinets and connecting and installing field devices. You’ll also lay and connect cables. In addition, you’ll help maintain and test the safety and functionality of electrical systems.

Training duration: 2 years

During your training, you’ll learn step by step how production systems work, as well as how they are programmed, configured, and repaired. You’ll monitor and optimize the entire production process, so that you can intervene quickly in the event of quality deviations and eliminate faults. You’ll also document your work and draw up work instructions for production planning and control.

Climate-focused career as an IT trainee

Do you think Java is “cool beans”? Do you enjoy spending your time coding new programs, with IT systems, networks or configuring hardware and software?

Together, we make buildings intelligent and self-regulating, thereby increasing sustainability and making a contribution to climate protection – and all this from behind a PC.

IT training: Job descriptions

You’ll be trained as a systems integration specialist, to plan, design, and implement our internal IT systems. You’ll assist our staff with technical user issues and troubleshooting. 

Training duration: 3 years

During your training, you’ll learn a great deal about network technology and how IT systems work together. You’ll also though learn about electrical engineering and how to deal with voltage and current. Your tasks will include installing and configuring hardware, application programs, and operating systems. You’ll help us plan, build, and implement custom IT solutions and network and infrastructure systems for building automation. You’ll also support the implementation of the building management system in the data center and provide consulting services to customers. 

Training duration: 3 years

You’ll be trained as a software application development specialist. You’ll develop programs according to customer specifications and optimize them as and when necessary. You’ll also provide support for application problems and train employees whenever new software is implemented.

At Kieback&Peter, you will learn how to design efficient economic processes and promote sustainable solutions – for a better world.

 

Communication talent: Job descriptions

During your commercial talent training, you’ll learn about the various commercial processes in our respective subsidiary. You’ll be involved in the entire order fulfillment chain, from quote preparation, order processing, and quote comparison through order execution and invoicing. You’ll receive inquiries from both customers and suppliers and undertake diary management tasks. You’ll also be responsible for general secretarial and support tasks.

Training duration: 3 years

During your training, you’ll spend time in each department both at the company’s headquarters and in its production facilities, gaining an in-depth overview of the company’s business operations and processes. You’ll work on a number of different tasks, such as preparing quotes, processing and handling orders, fulfilling orders, hiring and running payroll for employees, performing cost calculations, assisting with contract negotiations, and analyzing new markets. Toward the end of your training, you’ll specialize in one of the following core areas: Purchasing, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Logistics, or Sales.

Are you lacking practical experience to make a clear decision about your future? At Kieback&Peter, you can get a taste of a variety of skilled occupations:

  • As an electronics technician (m/f/d), you will get to accompany our technicians to the construction site and experience installations, maintenance work and troubleshooting first hand.
     
  • As a technical system planner (m/w/d), you will get to create and visualize control schemes for building automation using special CAD software. 
     
  • Immerse yourself in everyday office life as a management assistant (m/f/d), learn how orders are processed and take on assistant tasks.
     
  • As an IT specialist (m/w/d), support our IT department in setting up hardware and software and provide assistance in the event of IT problems.
