The Berlin-based medium-sized company convinces the jury in the innovation competition
The TOP 100 company portrait published on the occasion of the award states (excerpt):
"Kieback&Peter is an expert in building automation. The company develops software- and hardware-based all-in-one systems, that interconnect building technology systems with each other and contribute to a more sustainable use of objects. Digitisation opens up new possibilities here as well. At the same time, customers' demands on health, safety, comfort and, above all, climate friendliness are growing. "
"Increasing our innovation power is very important to us. The participation of the entire workforce plays a major role in this process," says Managing Director Christoph Paul Ritzkat. A good dozen "change projects" have been initiated by the top management in the past two years. In addition to the management level, more than 200 employees are involved in the projects. The aim of the projects is to develop innovations and achieve improvements in a wide variety of areas. In 2020, a new business unit was launched to explore ways of combining the traditional core business with cloud technologies and the Internet of Things. The hope is that the new business unit will lead to new and advanced concepts for even smarter buildings.
With this strategic orientation, the almost 100-year-old family-owned company has set itself the goal of supporting its customers' business models with digital infrastructure and data management, in order to achieve necessary climate goals as quickly as possible.
