Kieback&Peter, a leading expert in building automation and technology, is strengthening its long-standing collaboration with the Annedore-Leber-Berufsbildungswerk Berlin (ALBBW) to support the professional development of young people with disabilities and special educational needs. The goal of this partnership is to leverage synergies and jointly enhance career orientation and vocational training opportunities for individuals requiring additional support.

Kieback&Peter and ALBBW have been working closely together for several years. Through internships, lectures, and informational events, young people have already gained valuable insights into the IT sector. Last summer, a practical day was held at the Kieback&Peter facility in Mittenwalde, providing participants with a hands-on look at the manufacturing process.

Now, the collaboration is being further expanded: In April, Kieback&Peter will be present at ALBBW on two separate days. One day will be dedicated entirely to an IT workshop, while the second day will focus on commercial training. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to take part in an application training session.

A formal cooperation agreement has now been signed, marking a significant milestone for both partners in their efforts to promote the professional integration of young people with special educational needs and provide them with practical training opportunities.

Goals of the cooperation

The partnership between Kieback&Peter and ALBBW aims to maximize the potential of both organizations to offer practical and future-oriented vocational training to young professionals with individual support needs. The planned initiatives include:

  • Mutual job shadowing for trainers to exchange knowledge and further develop their respective training concepts.

  • Experience sharing and participation in specialized training sessions for the educational staff of both partners, with a focus on inclusive vocational training within the dual education system.

  • Joint support for apprentices through coaching and placement initiatives, particularly in application training and the selection of suitable professionals.

"We are pleased to further expand our successful collaboration with ALBBW. Our goal is to best prepare these young people for the job market and provide them with a sustainable professional perspective," says Clemens Troschke, Head of Human Resources at Kieback&Peter.

Through this strengthened cooperation, Kieback&Peter and ALBBW are making a valuable contribution to inclusive vocational training and equal career opportunities.
